Farewell mass

Sunday 30th August at 5.00 pm farewell Holy Mass of the Present Parish Priest at Rukmalgama.

Forthcoming Feasts

Wednesday 19th August is the feast of St. John Eudes. He was a Priest.
Thursday 20th August is the feast of St. Bernard. He was an Abbot and Doctor.
Friday 21st August is the feast of St. Pius X. He was a Pope.
Saturday 22nd August is the Queenship of Blessed Virgin Mary.

Church Renovation & Expansion Project

As we commence of our Church Renovation Project, Holy Mass will be celebrated on Monday, 17th August at 7.30 am

Changes in the weekly schedule

There will be no 10.30 am Holy Mass on Sunday 23rd August.
There will be no Holy Mass in the church on Wednesday 26th August at 7.00 am at Pannipitiya.
There will be no Holy Mass at Pannipitiya Cemetery on Poya Day Thursday 27th August at 7.30 am.
The parish office is closed from Monday 24th August to Monday 31st August please refrain from visiting parish office to get your needs attended during this week.

Zone leaders programme

There will be a programme for the zone leaders on Sunday 2nd August from 8.30 am to 11.00 am at Pannipitiya church. This programme will be conducted by Arch Diocesan basic Christian Community Director Fr. Basil Wickramasinge and his team. All the zone leaders of Pannipitiya, Mattegoda, Rukmalgama and Hokandara are requested to participate.

New appointment of priests

Rev. Fr. Ranjith Madurawala, Director of Catholic Education and General Manager of Catholic Private Schools.
Rev. Fr. Ranjan Priyadharshana, New Parish Priest of Pannipitiya. at present he is the Parish Priest of Panadura.
