Friday 24th April is the feast of St. Fidelis of Sigmaringen. He was a Priest & a Martyr.

Saturday 25th April is the feast of St. Mark.

Sunday 26th April is Good Shepherd Sunday.

Diamond Jubilee of Sr. Ruth Agodawatta

Diamon jubilee of Rev. Sr. Ruth Agodawatta, Superior of Rathmaldeniya Dominican Convent, is on Saturday 25th of April.

In celebration, Holy Mass will be held by His Lordship Bishop Sagara Jayamanne, the new Bishop of Anuradhapura, at 10.00 am at the Christ the King Church, Pannipitiya. Parishioners are invited to participate in the Jubilee Mass.

Poya Day Holy Masses at Pannipitiya

Friday 1st of May, is the feast of St. Joseph (The worker) & International Workers' Day. Holy Mass in celebration the feast of St. Joseph will be held at Pannipitiya Christ the King Church. You can bring your tools, equipment, and devices which you used for your employment to be blessed at the end of the Holy Mass.

Saturday 30th May, Holy Mass will be at the Pannipitiya Cemetery at 7.30 am.

Visitation houses by Mother Mary will begin from Sunday, the 26th April 2026. The schedule will be published on whatsapp.

7th Year Commemoration Of Easter Sunday Attack

Tuesday 21st April, 2026 marks the 7th Year of Easter Bomb Attack.

Funeral bell will be rung at 8.45 am and lamps will be lit at the Lourdes Grotto at Pannipitiya Christ the King Church to commemorate the 7th Year of bomb attack.

In the evening before the St. Anthony’s Novena and Holy Mass at 6.00pm, the lamps will be lit at Lourdes Grotto while the funeral bells are rung.
